Marie Antoniette Brooch - very late for the party...

I made this Marie Antoniette brooch for the party at Cupid's Charm, but of course I'm like that guest who arrives when the party was 2 days ago  ;-)... I didn't make it in time for the party, but better late than never, right?

 It's not very easy to be on time with 2 babies constantly waking up in the middle of the night  -  that's when I tend to get most work done, 'coz usually the house is quiet and no one wants a breast or bottle (not even hubby :-)) 

But Xmas fairs were frantic and crazy rush, rush, and now babies want mommy all the time at night... So what's a girl to do? She has to miss some parties here and there, unfortunately... 

I hope there will be more, 'coz they all sound like so much fun, and I miss socializing after 2 very intense years of motherhood and reinventing myself into this new person of 4 (babies, hubby and I). 

And truth is, I am new at this creative blogging thing but I'm kind of getting hooked - I LOVE, LOVE all the beautiful blogs I stumble upon by accident with all these wonderful women who inspire me deeply and warm my heart and who I've never met, but really hope to one day... 

That's actually a New Year Goal - get a big, nice house in the country side so I can make them all fly from America for a creative crafting weekend in Portugal! (No babies in the middle of the night then, I promise)

That said, I think that's the longest post I've ever written here in blog land! Wow! I might just get used to this and maybe make it to some parties, after all!
